Alana’s Story
At age 18, Alana came to PWC believing abortion was her best option. As the two young parents watched the screen, the ultrasound revealed not one but two heartbeats. The couple decided to parent. Alana faithfully attended PWC’s parenting classes while finishing high school. Following high school, she started classes at Concorde Technical School to become a medical assistant. She finished her training early and had a job waiting when she took her last exam. The twins are thriving, and Alana says, “Don’t let anyone say you can’t graduate high school, and go to college, and be a mom.”
